This year we will conduct four web-based
presentations (i.e., webinars) on topics of specific interest to
Wisconsin’s downtowns. What makes this series effective is the dialogue
and peer-learning that occurs locally, following the presentation at
each site.
We have scheduled four sessions this year with
the theme “New Approaches to Downtown Development in a Period of
Economic Recovery.” Individual sessions will focus on how shopping,
living, working and playing downtown has changed
through the recession and how we can increase the vitality of our
communities.
Thursday, March 11: Shopping Downtown and the “Deliberate Consumer”
Host:
David Milder (DANTH, Inc.)
How
retailers and downtown organizations can adapt to the “new normal” in
consumer behavior. |
